Can all us 260 dudes have our own section on the site where we can discuss our dillusions in peace?

It would be nice to have a discussion about our cars (260s) without antagonistic bigots hijacking the threads all the time.

I look out for any posts with '260' in the title and they almost always finish up being a load of bigoted ********(eight letters rhymes with rollocks) about inadequate spoilers and the like.

Quite honestly, I don't find any other Evo 8 model that interesting, I bought the car that I wanted and I don't wish I'd 'saved up' and bought a 300, a 340 or a 400 and so I would rather spend my time constructively discussing matters relevant to my own vehicle.

How many members are 260 owners? More than there are EX2000 turbos I would guess...and they have got their own section.

So how about it moderators? Indulge me.

I agree, cant we split the sections into the models like we have done with the EX2000, maybe Evos 1-3, then us guys with the early evos will get answer to our questions which sometime get over looked.

You are obviously one of those sad inviduals who like jumping on the popularity bandwagon in terms of your fellow 260 peers. Except this time round you are about 3-4 weeks too late in where the 260 has been grudgingly accepted as probably one the best evo's to buy in terms of a base platform prior to modification.

Matters relevant to your vehicle are basically the matters relevent to most of the rest of us unless you wish to discuss low rise spoilers?

Why moan that 260 owners are singled out by antagonistic bigots and then ask for a 'special' section just for them. Surely that is the bigoted approach (or do i have apartheid all wrong?)

The Lancer Turbo exists because there's relatively few owners and their threads just get lost. I'm not keen on creating sections that divide the users unless there's a need for it.

I am not advocating total segregation (or apartheid as Weebl alarmingly suggests) I just think that there are sufficient differences between the cars now that a 260 section (and indeed an Evo 1-3 section as someone suggested) would be useful since a lot of the newer people coming onto the site appear to be 260 owners or prospective purchasers and you would make it easier for them to find the relevant stuff.

Sorry if I am trying to change your world - I am afraid I do this everywhere I go!

Hmm it hasn't changed my world it just seems a little shortsighted by the fact that if you are going to talk about 260's then do it in a section that will gain as much exposure as possible to maximise the chances of the question being answered. There is virtually no difference between the various models and you could be missing out on critical info if you restrict it to a section that will only hold interest for a small percentage of the total user base.
