Guys,

I am planning to do some mods to my car, nothing flash just the standard filter upgrade, s/s exhaust (downpipe back), boost controller, ECU (possibly pe remap or Apex'i FC), oil temp gauge, boost gauge. One thing I am wondering is...........
does the BOV need upgrading as well?? I am not particuarly interested in a lot of noise and I know the Evo has a recirculating rather than VTA BOV as std so I would want to stay recirculating as it were. (also people who know what they are doing have kept recirculating).

Any advice would be appreciated thanks.

Ace,
If you are turning up the boost then it may be worthwhile investing in a recirc valve with a stronger spring to stop it leaking under high boost pressure. I believe that FOrge do an upgraded recirc valve for the Evo.

Yes, they do and it works really well. I got the firmer spring from them (red) and am very pleased.
