Since I had the car, my Greddy atmos BOV had signs of oil on its relief port. Now the area in front of the relief port has a build up of oily muck/dust etc.

What is the cause of this oil leakage and what can be done to stop it?

thanks

please elaborate? is it due to a blockage in a breather pipe(s)?
It's not a blockage in the breather pipes.

In the stock set up the breather pipe vents oil vapour from the rocker cover into your induction pipe, this oil vapour then gets pumped through your bov valve and causes it to gunk up over time.

If you put a baffled catch tank in the breather line between the rocker cover and your induction kit you will signicantly reduce the gunk that your bov sees.

Nope, the catch can needs to be baffled to have any significant effect.

All the Cusco can does is suck the oil vapour in and then blow it out again, as I understand it's just an empty can.

ok, i've just bought an AHF baffled tank, also has a breather fitted.
Problem now is...finding space to put it! :O
