Evo8 + Warranty

I am strongly considering modifying my 260 as well and have the same reservations. I called a few places on tuning upgrades and only one was offering a full warranty on the whole car not just the modifications.

this is a great performance mod for a 260.

ive heard if you take it over the highest bit you can see 0-60 in 3 secs and a top speed of 125mph. it also helps you stop well :D

Take no notice, its tough luck now you've got it

No, seriously, there is a bit you can do, but the warranty is a problem in my eyes, try speaking to Blacknight he may have some more advice on this.

Also take a look here ............... http://www.wrc-tech.co.uk/press.htm

And try a search for '260' mods, there has been quite a lot of discussions on exhaust, air filters etc etc.

:D

I`ve bben thinking similar and been in a few posts with same topic. Consensus seems to be speak to the dealer- some seem to be more tolerant of different things than others if it cam to the crunch putting a warranty claim through. Exhausts and filters seem to be OK- wouldn`t fancy messing with much else though.

brewer - Ware Mitsubishi offer a..... Downpipe and ECU Re-Map for £900 (<< their exact words on advertising poster in dealership)

As they're a Dealer I'm guessing this could be warranty friendly?
