Bonnet Air Intake Question??

The other day I decided to take the metal grill which sits behind the mesh on my air intake on the bonnet off and I personally think it looks a lot better with it off, it just looks more purposful?
What's everyone's thoughts on doing this, have other people removed it on here, is it okay to remove etc, etc??

i persume when you say bonnet intake you mean the little vent on the passenger side,but buy the sounds of it you mean the big vent in the middle that lets heat escape :confused:

i usually take mine off in the summer lets heat escape alot easier,dont want the rain getting in :)

not sure about the 8 but the actuators like to rust :rolleyes:
