The other day I decided to take the metal grill which sits behind the mesh on my air intake on the bonnet off and I personally think it looks a lot better with it off, it just looks more purposful?
What's everyone's thoughts on doing this, have other people removed it on here, is it okay to remove etc, etc??

Cheers :D

Nice motor mate!! :D

But the rain gets in anyway even with the grill on so what's the difference of having it off or on? Are there items under the Bonnet that can rust quite quickly if there left open to the elements for too long?

the vent fitted whilst moving will actually draw hot air out of the engine bay due to the moving air going over the top of the vents (more vents=more area) - it's a turbulence thing but I agree more hot air will probably escape when at a standstill
