I'm looking for a good boost gauge, Blitz, HKS or any good quality bit of kit. It must have a white face and come with all the fixing kit etc..
Oh yeh and it must be a reasonable price. ta
Consider the Defi-Link kit with its record/playback features, ease of install and especially if you want to add further gauges later. Its available in a variety of sizes and with either black or white faces. Further details are here and you can get it from New Age Motorsport for only a few quid more than the big brand name HKS/Blitz.
Well I aint selling any gauges, I have just bought some, the BlitZ ID boost gauge and a Oil Temp gauge.. And I can tell you, they are well good.. They are mechanical, so not as easy to install but they do them in Blue, White and Black face's, but the best thing is they are Indiglo faces, so they whole face glows, I have the blue ones and it glows up neon blue, me bro has the white ones, and the Whole face glows up Bright white! They look the biz!!
Blitz SBC-Id £525|PLS|vat (this is the BEST boost controller on the market!)
Blitz power meter ID £210|PLS|vat (communicates with boost controller via infa red !)
Apexi - wont sell Apexi, had a few problems with them !
Lee, I have the Blitz DSBC in my evo, your welcome to take it for a spin,
have JUN superlight flywheel, AP clutch, Eibach springs, Forge strut brace
and shes flying !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have a DSBC here in stock too.
All the above prices do not include MLR discount !
Because of the huge amount features, even has speed related boost control !!!!!!!!!!!
It's a bit too clever for my liking, I like my boost controllers simple, like the plain
old DSBC, but I know how much you IT boffs love gadgets....ROFL....think you'll
like all the extra features of the SBC-iD !
Xoticar in Croydon currently have the blitz boost guages in stock. They look very well made and can come with blue faces to match the EVO VI dials. They have the indiglo lighting system.
as soon as i persuade the wife that the sbc-id is very important for the safe running of the car, i will be giving you a shout (hopefully a christmas pressie )
If your going to get a worthwhile performance gain out
of any car you *HAVE* to be able to map fuel and ignition,
either with a mappable ECU or by hacking the stock Ecu
(a la PE remap); therefore an add on cludge like the Apexi AFC
is simply not required.
Only way I could see a use for the AFC is if you are running a
pre-mapped ECU like the Ralliart or Blitz or you are running a
fuel cut defencer and your fuelling is not quite right and needs
adjusting.
