Gents,

Still not sure what system to go for ?

I am home next week and have 300 pound to spend .... should stick with HKS or go BLITZ SONIC.

Any info would be a great help !

Cheers

personally speaking id go for the blitz sonic hands down...... this is what i currently have, sounds unbelivable and you can easily get the CHATTER sound by feathering the accelerator. Its AWSOME...... but thats just my opinion again!

hello, heres a good read on airfilters
http://www.max-boost.co.uk/max-boost/images/airfilter_test.htm

hope this helps.
This is the same test that appears on every web site and its rumoured that it was fixed to provide apexi with the best results. Forgetting that, it is a **** take and is totally useless for a filter test. Just buy what ever you want mate as whatever you get someone is going to slag it off because of some article they have read on the net (probably another dodgy test by another manufacturer).

save your money and cut the top of the standard aibox off to expose the top of the standard filter which you can replace with an uprated panel filter of some kind.

That will give you the noise and pretty much the same flow (potentially with a racing suction pipe on to the standard airbox), but will ensure the filtration. It will also give you a cold air feed still.

When you cut it, leave some extra material in place to shield on the side nearest the intercooler and rad.

Avdvice courtesy of john banks.

thanks.
