I've been getting intermittent problems with the AYC warning light coming on usually after an hours drive or a bit of more adventurous driving. The local dealer ran the MUT-II and diagnosed a problem with the Throttle Position Sensor (TPS). Now its been back for a second check they reckon its a fault which is becoming common on the VI's and its not the TPS but part of the ECU and its a straight replacement of the unit. The car feels OK but losing the AYC just when I need it ain't too appealing !!
Anybody had the same diagnosis ?
