The auto waterspray on my MR RS doesn't work, the manual setting works ok!

u have to bear with me 'cause I haven't got a handbook etc! When I press the button a little green light comes on and I'm guessing this mean the auto setting has been engaged.

What activates the spray?

My car has recently been EcuTk'ed would this have anything to do with it?

The intake temps need to reach a level they never will in the UK.

So the inlet temp. actives the auto spray and as the inlet temps are so low then it doesn't trigger the spray.
