Has anyone installed an Apex-i AFC in their Evo yet? I'm thinking that there is power to be gained by trimming the fuel to run a bit leaner, obviously paying attention to the EGTs and 02 sensor voltage to prevent a disaster.
I have one on my E4. Marvellous tool for saving ££'s. http://www.ltregister.force9.co.uk/graphics/Happy.gif border|EQU| 0 align|EQU| middle >
You can set it to -20% fuel on 3000 revs (upto say 15% throttle) and feel no ill effects. Under acceleration you are using a different fuel profile - so no damage occurs under boost.
Fact - Normal driving in traffic rarely uses more than 15% throttle. You might use approx 20% for pulling off. I've been monitoring!!! Sad ....
