One of my favourite cities. I've celebrated my **th birthday there and we went back for one of my son's 21st birthday celebrations. Coolest clubs in Europe according to my sons. I can't remember a lot but I really enjoyed myself too! Some of the prostitutes are gorgeous, some are hideous, but the wife steered me quickly past all of them before I could have a really close up inspection...
Recommended. The Dutch are Brit friendly too and make you very welcome.

I always stay at the Pulitzer Hotel Amsterdam, Prinsengracht 315-331. I think it's one of the nicest hotels there, I even prefer it over the Grand Krasnapolsky.

Call 0800-8496372 (UK only, toll free) to book this lovely 5 star hotel.

Swissotel just over Dam Square - I guess its not cheap but the Suite rooms are quite excellent. Plus it overlooks a bar (i forget the name) that do some awesome argentinian steaks. Oh yes.

Mmm.. they have bulldog bars there and to put it bluntly their gear is weak rubbish. Try and get your arse down to the grasshopper just past the station.

I Love Amsterdam - it is Awesome :D :coolsm:

I stayed at the Park Hotel 'cos it has locked garaged parking for my EVO :)

It is also right beside the Casino area, where all the best restraurants, coffee shops etc are.

You HAVE to go clubbing there too - Awesome!!!

The touristy central bit, with red light district is worth seeing, but pretty **** compared to the quality "entertainment" available slightly further out...

Enjoy :)

I never forget the day I was lounging in a bar some saturday afternoon in amsterdam to see this fully kitted up trans getting off the tram wearing the full money suspenders, high heels and leather basque. Straight from the rocky horrow show it was - no one else batted an eye lid even though the me'n'the'lass ended up in fits of laughter at the spectacle.

Some of the non touristy sex shops have some right funny old stuff too - worth a look!
