DO make sure you go into the rooms with the red lights.

DONT go into the rooms with blue lights

My mate had his stag weekend in Amsterdam. It was absolutely superb, but it did get rather messy. If your into the herbal stuff then you might to leave a day for recovery when you get back. You'll probably also spend twice as much money as you originally intended to.

Most of stuff interesting stuff like the (red light district, cafes, bars etc.) is within walking distance from the train station.

We only went to one sex show as they do work out pretty expensive once you add up entry and drinks.

If you go on a pub crawl I'm sure you also find the street urinals they bring in for the weekend useful.

If you get to hammered and your walking through the red light district watch out for the dodgey women. I got accousted by one and she had her hands in my pockets looking for money like a shot. She did not take anything fortunately.

Finally, if you staying in a B&B anything like we did make sure your not to sh*t faced to climb the stairs. The stairs in the place we stayed were like a 2 in 1 gradient.

If you see any 'immigrant' looking people heading your way just pull a face like you are going to chin them. All they do is follow you around shouting charlie/pills etc - all of it is completely fake. Get the gear from the night clubs as you have a much better chance of getting some legit (er kosher) stuff.

If you do visit a whore you can expect a rousing cheer from loads of people (just passers by) when you exit one of the parlours.

Amsterdam has to be the best place I have visited - always a carnival atmosphere in the air even through the week.

expect it to be very busy this weekend,
i will be there all day/night friday.
going over on thur on the bikes, as its moto gp at assen on sat.
loads of bikers strolling the red light area .
staying about 40 min train ride away to protect the bikes

a must is to make sure they dont have a ADAMS APPLE, thats about it really.

no chance of the silly pills or any of that stuff.......job ain't worth it!! paid a bucket load to get where i am today so ain't gonna blow it on a weekend!

I have made a few notes so will see where i end up on Saturday night!....if i last that long arrive at 8 am!!! What time do the bars open?? :crackup:

I suspect that "don't be the groom" is the best advice for any stag weekend unless you can pick the locks on handcuffs whilst having photos of your naked ass taken by your cruel mates

tbh mate i cant remember.......ended up in one place, think it was a live sex show.....was abit wasted! no real stories from my behalf, too drunk for any action, plus lost for most of the night. taxi driver wasnt much use, took me to the wrong hotel, but it was closer to where i was in the first place.

One of em got arrested for making pig noises to a copper....60 euro and a night in a cell!!! haha

as i said missed the banana bar! from the sounds of it its well worth a visit.
