Time to move up to a different box for the Twincharger so i have for sale my AMS/CMS dogbox which has been rebuilt into a new casing along with a fair list of brand new parts.

This is the AMS box with upgrades to the dog engagement pattern on 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th gears.

Casing beadblasted and all threads re-tapped
New input shaft
New mainshaft
New 1st gear
new 2nd gear
new 3rd gear
new 4th gear
new bearings on mainshaft
New dogrings
new input shaft seal
4.3:1 final drive

(3.85:1 final drive crownwheel also with the box - just needs the pinion to suit)

The only parts not renewed are 5th gear and reverse!

I've been using this box for 3 years and have maintained it regardless of cost.

Bargain at £3500 with a large box of spares thrown in. Price is not negotiable. I have spent over £3k on the rebuild this month alone!

This box has been removed from sale for the moment as my new box won't be here until after Shelsley Walsh so i have to use this for one event. It will be available a week Monday with approximately 6 miles on it and only after internal inspection.

Broke the car again on Saturday so didn't compete on Sunday at all. I was a spectator until 12 noon then headed up the road to get an early stripdown on the engine.

Dogbox back on the market again :smthumbup.

It has done 2 hillclimbs since the above photos were taken. I've just stripped it down and pleased to say the condition is exactly as it was when built! It's covered about 12 miles since all the new parts were fitted.

5th gear and reverse are the only original parts although there is no reason to change them yet. Because i ran this with the 3.85:1 final drive until recently, 5th gear was rarely used.

Price £3500 as it is - built complete with a standard open centre diff

£3900 with 5th and reverse gears replaced (basically 99% new internals)

Will take 700hp. Bargain - this would cost £5k new
