Does anyone know the tech spec of the Cobra cat 1 alarm fitted to a Ralliart Evo 6 GSR. Some b****** shattered my window and it didn't sound. According to the user manual it has a glass break sensor but I took it to a Cobra dealer and they couldn't find one. Ralliart couldn't confirm.

Not seen a glass break sensor on any evo with a standard cobra alarm,
will check tomorrow and let you know?

If it does not have a glass breakage sensor it should at least have ultasonics and they should have picked it up. Sounds like the alarm is faulty. It does not matter what features it has got, if the system has a fault, they may not work.

I would get the whole system checked by a Cobra main agent.

There is a microwave sensor but this will only sound if the pattern is disturbed. The window was shattered but not broken so this didn't pick it up. It doesn't send out a good message if someone shatters your window and the alarm doesn't sound. They'll probably be back.
