I wonder if someone has a few codes for my evo 4 which has a sigma alarm.

I'd like to know the codes for :

-Arm/Disarm Tones On
-Auto Lock On - An anti-hijack feature that automatically locks the doors and boot when the ignition is turned on and unlocks them again when the ignition is turned off.
-Auto Arm to Include Locking – As above, however, the alarm will also lock the vehicles doors at the same time as Auto Arming.

thx for the help

Just been reading through my book for you.

It says for the arm and disarm tones they can either be loud or soft. to switch between tones turn on ignition, type *(star) on the keypad then turn off ignition immediatly.

To turn ON autolock turn on ignition, press remote button, type 4 on the keypad then immediatly turn off ignition.
To turn ON autolock turn on ignition, press remote button, type 5 on the keypad then immediatly turn off ignition.
If on any occasion you do not want the doors to lock, say you need to scrape ice from the windows or work under the bonnet, open drivers door then turn the ignition on, hazzard lights will flash after 1 second then when you start the car the doors can be closed without them locking. to alow the auto lock to work again turn off car and remove keys from ignition, next time the car is started it will be back operational again.

didnt know what you meant with the auto arm including locking bit so if you put more detail up ill try and help.

thx for the help so far. I'll try it today and let you know if it worked. what i meant with the auto arm including locking bit is for i leave the car behind. the turbo timer takes over the ignition for 30 sec or more and while the timer is counting and the motor stilll running on the turbo timer i cant lock the doors or arm the alarm. so I allways have to wait until the turbo timer is done and shuts the engine down until i can lock an arm the car.

ahh ok, had another look and from what i understand this function has to be programmed when the alarm is installed.

there is only a few features you can do yourself. if you had the alarm fitted you should have been given the option to have headlights coming on and off, the auto lock function, total closure for windows etc... but if like me the alarm was already in then your stuck with most settings how they are.

okay, tried it... when I turn on ignition, then push the remote, press 4 and then turn of ignition immediatly nothing seems to change. and the funny thing is when I did the same but then with the number 7 the anti hijack system works. so that's one thing. now only the other two things to go.

edit: okay so it's possible that the other options aren't availeble with this car...
maybe this will work? "Auto Arm to Include Locking – As above, however, the alarm will also lock the vehicles doors at the same time as Auto Arming.
NB There is a risk of the vehicles keys being locked inside the vehicle with this feature selected if the vehicles doors are shut whilst the keys remain in the vehicle. Sequence: *17856*04*1#"

tried the above but doesn't work either...

thx for the help so far

Hi I use to install the sigma alarms I still have all the codes for programing them.
It might help to know what series alarm it is it could be the m series or s series but try these codes

*17856 *00 *0# will turn arm/disarm bleeps off *1# will turn them on
*17856 *02 *0# will turn autolock off "1# will turn autolock on
*17856 *03 *0# will turn auto arm off *1# will turn auto arm on
*17856 *04 *0# will turn auto arm with door looking off "1# will turn on

I wonder if someone has a few codes for my evo 4 which has a sigma alarm.

I'd like to know the codes for :

-Arm/Disarm Tones On
-Auto Lock On - An anti-hijack feature that automatically locks the doors and boot when the ignition is turned on and unlocks them again when the ignition is turned off.

thx will try em tomorrow. I'm not sure which series sigma I have. I have a remote with 3 red leds on it and got the keypad on the window. I'll try these codes first when they don't work Ill search for the series type of the alarm and let you know.

how do i enter these codes. first arm the alarm then disarm then turn on igniton then type the characters and then immediatly turn of ignition?

There are loads of ways to tell what alarm it is the s series has a rubber button keypad the m series has a touch button keypad also the light on your dash if it's only red it will be the m series if it changes colour it will be the s series and the s series has a 2 button remote

as to programing the alarm you don't need to turn ignition on and off just turn alarm off then enter the codes the first numbers 17856 let's you in to the programing mode.
Hope this helps :smthumbup

oke... so my alarm has a rubber button on the remote but only one. and the dashboard led is two coloured, red and green. so i guess it's the s series then?

edit.... lol its the s series, its on the back of the remote :p

another edit: tried the codes. first i armed then disarmend the alarm, when I type *17856 there's a bleep then type *00*1# there's another one but still no bleep when locking/arming the car...? also the auto arm code didn't work.

greetz and thx

As it is the s series alarm you have the codes are different
*17856 *000 * 0 or * 1 then # *0 is off *1 is on
this does the Arm/Disarm Indication Tones - On/Of

I will send you a email with all the keypad programing codes :smthumbup
