did you get it then dave
yes dude come and have a look tomo mate with kerion its not mint but i can sort that
mike can run like that even when fueling fine
different shades of red can mean rich or lean etc
think a deeper red is rich but maybe way off LOL
got really gutless thats how i noticed it
fitted a sard egt
reading as followed
idle 600 degrees c
3000 rpm 720 degrees c
5000 rpm 1000 degrees c
6000+ rpm 1100 degrees c
running 1.3 bar with gizzmo chip
are these reading ok or not as its nigh on always in the red
No, that's too high. You shouldn't pass 900C or so.

too lean then :(
Best off check fueling with a wideband, guessing at the colour of the manifold not good idea :)

you may be betting high EGT due to detonation or to much retarded igniton timing.
EGT's way too high, check fuel pressure, could be running out of fuel delivery at high RPM.. The best way to do this is on a rolling road, At full load all the way through the RPM check the fuel return to the tank is still flowing well, you will probably find that it is just a dribble.. but honestly, I don't know how you can expect someone at the other side of the world to tune your car??? Different fuels, mods, etc.. You are a gamer man than me!!!
Hi mike

Check everything ASAP otherwise you will melt Pistons VERY soon.

Youre EGT should NEVER EVER pass 950degrees on the Evo.

Usually 900 at full load is good, and 950 is acceptable, but nothing higher.

I think something in youre fuel delivery is playing games with
you.

cheers

too much or too little is what i wnat to know cars still uses a lot of fuel

little fella are you talking about the gizzmo chip if so they do run opitimax out there are the mod i have are the one required but i have forged piston
what do you think is the issue
mike
well guys ive just come back from checking with the help of ashills off here and his wide band sensor
results were
idle 18 > 20 :(
on boost 13 > 14
check everything and seems ok fuel pressure with vacum pipe off is 41psi as standard
cranked the pressure up to about 52 psi ran mega rich like 10.5 so backed the pressure to 48 and runs about 11.5 on boost
now dont know if we have just covered up a fault
any one any ideas please

oh my god, thank god you didn't blow the engine mate.

11.5 on boost is very good, it equals to lambda 0.85.

have you checked EVERYTHING??

was it the fuel pressure??

Kami
dont know if its the fuel pressure or thats covering another fault
kami mate you have changed you ecu havent you what happened to you old gems ;)
