Do any of you folks have any recommendations for an after market performance Manifold?
I would like to retain the OE Internal Waste Gate and Turbo (for now :))

HKS is £995|PLS|v and is built for the standard turbo/wastegate;
cannot comment on how it compares to the DP fanimould, err manifold....

Fitting one to a TME next week, ill be able to give an honest opinion
on how it performs; tho' ive seen a before and after dyno graph
and it looks like it will give a nice hike at 3-4'000 revs.

Thanks Justin
I'll look forward to your findings.
Did you ever get the instrument pods sorted for the Evo 7 by the way??!! I'm still looking for a black faced, orange digit 2 bar meter (preferably HKS!) that matches the E7 instrument cluster if you know of one..

This months Japanese Performance issue No 14 has an RC Developments stainless steel full-flow manifold advertised.

They say it replaces the original cast iron manifold for all 4G63 engines from EVO 4 to 7.

They estimate increases of 20bhp-plus due to improved efficiency of the exhaust gas into the turbo charger and beyond.

Price £810.75

Well there you have it guys, the RC one for £810

If anyone wants to give the HKS a go, ill do it for £995 including vat.

Spoke to Co-ordsport about the HKS Manifold (in conversation) and the gains are impressive (similair to RC's).

Initial reports from an Evo 5 owner with a heavily modded car (Motec, uprated internals, 2 bar etc.) is a huge difference in the cars response - much better, feels much quicker, though he as a rule doesn't roller his car, so no figures.

Given his spec, he must be putting out figures close to 400bhp. Thought it would be interesting to know that the manifold does seem to make a difference even on a highly tuned car.

SuperL, sounds like it is well worth it and would work on your beast.

Gains are phenominal , 20bhp in the mid-range on a standard car !! JESUS !

Already taking orders for the next batch of manifolds from HKS.

Anyone wanting a MONSTER power hike on their evo, combine the manifold, hks front pipe
and hks cams (272i/264e) are you'll **** your pants with the results....ROFL !!!

Oh, yes, I am married.
