Am wondering what peoples thoughts are regarding adaptors for changing the stud pattern of hubs?? Currently the E3 has four, and I am keen to hook up with some nice 17 OZ Racings but they have 5 Stud pattern.. http://www.ltregister.f9.co.uk/graphics/sad1.gif border|EQU| 0 align|EQU| absmiddle >

Any thoughts??

E3,

Don't do it - the adapters will change the wheel off set and [email protected] your bearings - plus it sounds a bit dangerous to me http://www.ltregister.f9.co.uk/graphics/sad1.gif border|EQU| 0 align|EQU| absmiddle >

I expect you'll need to change the hubs to IV's or better still find out about getting the wheels supplied undrilled. This way you can get a decent m/c shop to match the off set and pcd to your original wheels [img]http://www.ltregister.f9.co.uk/graphics/happy1.gif border|EQU| 0 align|EQU| absmiddle >.

Thanks for that RS. Yeah I was thinking the concept of adapters was a little on the dodgy side....

These were second hand rimms, and as a result the cost of them was a hell of a lot less than the new ones....new ones are out of the question due to a looming house purchase http://www.ltregister.f9.co.uk/graphics/sad1.gif border|EQU| 0 align|EQU| absmiddle >

Thanks again for the thoughts , though....I am thinking the IV/V/VI hubs might be the way to go....maybe even with some nice Brembo's [img]http://www.ltregister.f9.co.uk/graphics/biggrin1.gif border|EQU| 0 align|EQU| absmiddle >
