Hi Guys,

i am just about to buy an evo 8 actuator for my evo 5, just have to check mine tonight to see if its knackered!

my evo is ecutek remapped to 1.6bar, but it is very lumpy at the moment, very hesitant if ya know what i mean.
i have been told it me be the common problem of the standard actuator rusting.

if i buy the evo 8 actuator which has the cap to stop water getting into it, will it bo ok on my car running 1.6 bar?

As you know I put an E8 actuator in my E5 and it was a straight swap and sorted my boost control problems caused by the old rusty actuator. I'm running 1.5BAR and boost is solid all the way ;)

Shouldnt be a problem but if it does become a problem the only way to go is forge which are great and can adjust them by changing the spring in them
