Anyone get problems with this on a VI? After braking sometimes, this light comes on and the ANS fails to work anymore.
As soon as I restart the engine, however, the ABS returns to normal

take to mits dealer and put on mut

The same happened with my 6. Mitsi did a diagnostic and ended up replacing the abs module.

Hi there!

What is ABS? Are you talking about Bosch's Anti Blokier System? I dont have it on my Evo 6 rs2! What do you use it for? Have longer braking distances? ???

Had the same problem on my Evo 6.
Took the car to Xoticar in Croydon who
cleaned all the ABS sensors on each wheel
which can apparently cause the problem if they
get dirty.
The problem seems to be resolved.
Try this first before a garage changes
the ABS module at great expense

If both rear brake light bulbs are blown you will get an ABS and AYC light on after 15 mins of ignition on, the ABS will stop working. Replacing the bulbs will bring things back to normal. The same fault will occur if the stop light switch has an open curcuit.
