996 C2or FQ300? - nice decision to have to make

Fortunate to be in the position of chosing my next car, having just sold my (fab) EVO VI RS2...

Had my eye on a 996 C2, standard car, 98-R in blue. Would be my first 911 and after driving one on a track day recently hugely impresed, had already decided to go for this then was offered this.....

EVO 8 FQ300 2003 in black. Drove it today and was really really impressed by how much more of a 'quality' feel it has over the EVO VI. Does not feel as quick as the RS2 but more compliant/easy to live with.

Not going to do many miles in either one as have a daily driver for motorways etc.

So.. What would you go for??????

those who own an evo who said they would have the 996 why dont you go get one if they r that good. Porsche r common as busses when i bought mine looked at m3 and porsche but just too many of them driving round with their baseball caps on the wrong way an evo has got t b just as expensive to run.

:)

I wouldnt want any other car

my simple apinion !!
I said I'd have a Porsche cos I wouldn't want an FQ300 Evo VIII, some may think they have "evolved", I would have to disagree ;) :p

If the Question had been 996 C2 or Tommi Mak then I think my answer would be obvious :D

Its got to be white and red and be called GT3 RS :coolsm:

And as much as it pains me to say it you can actually afford one at the moment  :coolsm:
