key is in the RS box.....

unless its a gt30 or above, surely a stroker kit on a green will run out of puff higher up in the rev range and feel flat if going through the gears as with the rs box - your always in the higher rev range......
reckon 2ltr is way to go with the green :smthumbup or 3076, 2.3 and RS box combo this would be awesome - best of both worlds......wicked spool but top end power and revs :D:)

Trying to figure out which to go for myself - think due to the fact if ever I want to sell the car in the UK I'd be better off going forged 2L rather than stroker - easier to get through SVA I'd say!

Anyone know how a forged 2L on a 9GT with stock turbo (running stock boost for now until I can afford a new turbo) with the RS box runs?

Very timely thread this!! :D

I think I will be sticking with 2ltr however my issue now is compression.
Nearly all the traders on the site ofeer great deals on pistons however most of them are 9 to 1 and me being on crappy Irish fuel I am abit worried what do you guys think?

Sorry to hijack again - same issue for me. Excillium (97ron) is the best on offer in Guernsey. :wallbang:

its not an issue, you just run less timing, and or water injection, and or octane booster, and or methanol.

btw current thinking is to buy an mx5 aswell, though m
am not keen on having two cars.

Evo seems to cost a lot, though i don't drive that far and I am not convinced there are any better cars for my needs out there!

Ha...that should be a laugh. Full boost at 2300 revs?

I take it you will be getting a bigger turbo later on?
I may have to, but am not intending to as such.

when I do i will be hard pushed to choose between a green and a twin scroll 3076.

Need to do some research on the full race first as I am not convinced. do they cast their own exhaust housings or have they adapted the diesel twin scroll? I don't like the fact that its a turbonetics not a genuine garrett gt series - not sure if that's even true or a rumour!
