I was going to stroker mine, but i am now going to stick with a 2.0ltr now as i do like to rev the engine and the new turbo's that are about you dont need to go with a stroker to get good bhp and nice torque.

Kenny, I would go with a gsr box....:)

But I have an RS mate...too late.

a stroker would have been good for u, u have a big turbo bros and it would help spool up, personally i prefer a 2 litre on smaller turbos maybe some nice oversize 86m bore pistons or even a 156mm rod and custom pistons on a 2 litre will be nice

for gt3076 onwards a stroker will be nice :D
Hi Mo....getting a stroker makes it future proof don't you think?

Imagine paying for a nice 2L forged job and a year later wanting a stroker kit.:wallbang:

Besides....as far as the MLR sprints go.....a stroker kit will keep you in a seperate class to Knoxville:crackup:

Probably a good option for us all then:crackup::smthumbup

But with a std frame turbo on a 2.4 it wont be worth reving it past 5500 rpm, thats why i thought an RS box would not be the best to go for , due to that its shorter so uses a higher rev range?

Lee
You are probably right mate. 5500rpm is crap.

God I'm going to make a mess of my car...chosing all the wrong parts:wallbang:;)
