Hey guys just bought a evo tme rs with a blown engine so I am am having an engine build.
Just wondering should i stay 2ltr or go 2.3.
I only plan on running a 9 turbo or evo green.
The tme rs has the shortest box available so I dont want to go too high on power.


What do ya reckon?

A stroker with a green and an RS box..... Jesus that would be a sprint monster, I'd deffo say go with the stroker if you plan on sprints. Does depend on what your gonna use it for though?

Hey Mate it will be mainly my daily driver although not getting driven everyday. I would also like to get into doing track days in it.

2.3 Stroker will give you some nice Torque over the 2ltr too, would be awesome running the Green...:smthumbup:smthumbup

It would be a defo with the Stroker mate! Works well with any turbo kit with loads of torque! And if you did ever want to go gt35r+ you have the engine ready to do so! Also re sale would be better with a stroker i think!

a stroker will only cost you £500 more fopr the crank so seems daft not to.

If you go green the 2.3 all the way it seems from reading on here.

If your gonna stick with a std turbo or a 9 turbo, I think the 2.0 would be a better option, as the turbo will run out of puff on the stroker, so i've been told.

Thats the main reason i've stayed 2.0 with my build.

m8 its 2,3 & green. i did it ages ago, fine torq monster, poss 485 hp & 500 T. the 9 tubby will choke the 2,3 big time. ,green. it go,s fantastic just on 1 bar. 2 bars is megga. . D :smthumbup
