I am just in the process of buying some 18 Speedline wheels for my Evo V.
NEED HELP!!http://www.lancerregister.com/graphics/embarassed1.gif border|EQU| 0 align|EQU| absmiddle >
I have at the moment some 17 White WRC Wheels that I am going to keep for track days
always used Bridgestones So1, So2 and now have So3 use 225/17/45 at the moment
Am I best staying on these or look at some others?
I run Bridgestone S02s on 18 s for very wet days and Dunlop D001J semi-slicks for the rest of the year (street legal) - they are awesome. Recommend those.
dragon - they could be used daily, but they are not brilliant in the wet! Ok in the damp, but if it gets cold, and slimey, then you have to potter around like you were in a 500bhp RWD car!
Better stick to good road tyres. Try Pirelli P Zero Assimetrico. My mate has just put them on his 6, and Claudius loves them too!
Kumho are supposed to be good, but until recently I don't think they had a street legal track tyre. They are used on heavy cars, like M3's for racing, so would probably work well on our cars. Will look into it again soon.
I have some 17 white Wrc Wheels I am probably going to put slicks on for Trackdays.
My aim is to find the best tyres for the new 18 speedline wheels that might get used for Trackdays when wet?
I have used recently SO3 Bridgestone but I feel that I need to try something else the Pirelli P Zero Assimetrico you mention would you say they are as good as the SO3 or better?
