Lots of capable companies on here: NR Autosport, APT, mad, MG Autos, Norris Designs, TRL, RG Motorsport, The list goes on. Have a search and take your pick!

Your original quote was "would £10,000 get me 500-600bhp out of a any evo 8 except a 260" Which you can.

If your looking to track the car then it will cost you significantly more.

Ok so £3.3K = Garrett GT3076 turbo kit ( I'd get Ross sport HTA version )
£1100 rod job
£500 on some kelford 272 cams
£300 on some cam gears
£600 on a 3" turbo-back exhaust with de-cat.
£1000 on an intercooler with hard pipe kit
£400 on a koyo radiator
£300 on 750cc injectors
£75 on a walbro 25 fuel pump
£900 on an up rated clutch
£1000 on some K-sport brakes
£200 on a boost controller ( gizmo )
£600 mapping
Have I missed anything ? not much change from £10k but the set up id kill for :)

Thats most of the main parts but there are a few of the smaller items missing such as:

Head gasket
ARP head and main studs
Fuel Pressure Regulator
Springs and retainers
Plugs
walbro hard wire kit (or bosch 044)
induction kit
uprated bov
oil
clutch fluid
oh....and labour;)

I've got pretty much everything listed above but opted for a BBK Full rather than a 3076

It is definitely cheaper to buy a car thats already modified. There was a 500+ bhp TME for sale in Stirling recently for £13k - £14k IIRC
