6.5 won’t start I’m stumped
Fresh build on the 2.0 . Everything bolted to the motor is stock with the exceptions of 880cc RC injectors, JDC COP, and full exhaust. The car ran fine for 30ish miles. Several short drives with varying load. Started the car and let it warm up for 15-20 minutes. Went to drive it got about a mile down the road and it just died.
Checked all the fuses and they’re all good. I’m getting 40ish psi of fuel pressure Haven’t checked spark yet. It’s the next thing to check. Found the noise condenser is gone and a bit of exposed wire. Could this grounding out cause an issue? |

Just checked for spark. I’m not getting any. It cranks just fine but no spark.
Cam sensor is an evo 8 one and it’s brand new |

So the rpms aren’t moving when I crank it. Seems like a crank position sensor. Any other ideas?

MN158261 can anyone verify this is the correct p/n for the crank position sensor?

If the noise condenser has gone and the wire has grounded it will have blown one of the big fuses in the engine bay fuse box, happened on my 4 a few years ago, cant remember whether it was a 100 amp or 40 amp but check those.

Just realised you said you had checked the fuses, but mine had exactly the same symptoms when the noise suppressor wire earthed.
