Evo 7 RS underbody restoration

Purchased my car in September 2017, was imported just 2 months prior so was in great condition underneath.

Had her clear coated to save her rotting away straight away and have spent 3 years slowly and lightly modifying what was a bog standard 7 RS with steel wheels into a fast road/occasional track car.

I am now having the underbody restored and will post the pictures here as it goes through its journey to being better than it was when it left the factory :-)

Car Spec

125k km (77k miles)
Evo 7 RS with Optional Large battery & Optional Aircon from the factory
ECU remap by Simon Norton
Straight through 3" exhaust
Ohlins DFV
18x9.5 Volk CE28's
Alcon full race kit front 365mm and rear 347mm
Bench seats replaced with Mirco buckets
Evo 9 rear bumper
Carbon side skirts, rear spats and front splitter
K & N filter

Here are some pics as she sits now. I will post updates as I receive them. Initial assessment is its pretty clean and zero welding is needed thankfully!

The car has been driven come rain/wind/snow/grit been to the ring about 5 times and spa 6 and has never let me down

Love the car, what's the plan of action? Which products are you going to use for the underside?

Really nice looking car.7 RSs are a definite favourite of mine.Weirdly enough im not a big fan of the GSR, for some unknown reason!
Its nice to see you can use them in any weather , as long as you are careful about keeping it clean underneath.
Saying that, i still wont run mine in the Winter!
My first Impreza was immaculate underneath ,and had no underseal ,and i did run it, occasionally, in the winter, but made sure i jet washed the underneath thoroughly after taking it out and it was fine, but i only owned it for a couple of years so never got a chance to see if i had done any long term damage by doing this.
