Water ingress

Good morning everyone

At the weekend my fuse blew for the hazard lights

On closer inspection i see there is some very slight corrosion on the blades suggesting there is ingress

As this fusebox is located behind the glovebox i can only assume the leak is coming from the engine side through the firewall or a wiring grommet

Lancer is 2009 and RHD

Any help would be greatly appreciated

many thanks DeeDee

been on here a long time, and not seen any mention of water ingress issues on evoX's and alike, 7 to 9's have an issue with water ingress in the passengers side footwell area affecting a multiplug. Its going to be a case of getting light up there and looking for moisture or staining

..... and 5 and 6's around the boot spoilers but I have never heard of water through the firewall. However you might be unlucky and have a dodgy grommet
