Coil On Plug Kits

We have two main kits on offer.

One is a plug and play kit for either a standard ECU or aftermarket ECU. This will plug directly into the engine wiring loom using the original connectors each side of the rocker cover.
It's the most commonly sold type there is.
Even though this kit is aimed at being entry level the key components are there such as Tefzel mil-spec 18awg wire, crimped splices, stainless hardware and the unused port in the connector has a proper cavity plug inserted to block it.
Each junction on the loom has a cable tie for strain relief too.

To start this kit off we buy our carbon from Easy Composites based in the UK. The specific material we use is their high strength carbon fibre sheet in 2mm.
These plates are machined by us on our Datron CNC router to accept both the Toyota and Nissan coil type. The mounting pattern is very close so we have just elongated the holes slightly as per below.
The reason we did this is to keep costs down for us and you. The same plate can also be bought so you can make your own DIY kit should you wish to do so.

We select coils that are supplied to us by a large and reputable supplier within the UK. These coils are not Denso since they are not cost effective to buy and actually not required to make a coil kit which will take the boost reliably.
Many manufacturers make a pattern part to the Denso coil including BOSCH, NGK, Magnetti etc. since the Denso most people are familiar with is actually discontinued with Toyota.
The coils we use have been used reliably to over 2bar boost with no issues. All the coils we sell are backed up by a 1 year guarantee.

Each kit is packaged with instructions. Any questions please ask.

The second kit on offer is known as the high power kit. There are a couple of coil options here.
You can use the default coil with the kit which is our own take on the Nissan R35 coil which will outperform the Toyota coil in terms of power and general ability at extreme demand.
This uses a custom tube length to work with our 2mm carbon plate which ensures a direct fit into the Evo 4-9 engine.
Since this coil type is able to be separated there are customers that option to use Genuine Nissan coil heads added to our tubes.
Hitachi is also a recommended replacement for the Genuine Nissan coil.
We have tested our coils to over 800hp with 100% reliability. There is no need for expensive CDI systems anymore.

Just like our plug and play kits, this kit uses the same 2mm carbon and stainless hardware but the loom is full motorsport specification.
Consisting of Raychem Spec 44 wire, Raychem DR-25 heat-shrink and Raychem boots that are potted to ensure weather proofing there is not a better alternative on offer.
Each loom needs to have a trigger from a standalone ECU as well as a power and ground. A mating connecter is supplied.
The mating connector is designed to be booted also hence its solid back end.

Track Formula Evo 8 MR RS. I don't work on this car enough but it's great to get some progress on it over the last week. I cannot wait to get this on the track!
