Side skirts ,wheels, side mirrors and those bits you've mentioned do point out that it might be zero fighter . In U.K. Officially they came in silver/black and white /red. I've heard of one like yours on here .apparerly it had all kit fitted in factory .Post more photos of interior as that's also unique for zero fighter /extreme or RS2

Do those stickers look factory? You say it has UK history from new....the Zero Fighter was the name of a Japanese fighter plane that was used against the British to destroy our ships, planes and generally kill us. There is as much chance of there being a UK model of a car called Zero Fighter as the next Dodge Viper being the bin Laden edition.

The UK version of the Zero is pretty much the Extreme, your car just looks like it has parts of the extreme kit and some stickers. I believe you could buy the Zero kit back in the day, you can probably buy the extreme kit too, or copies I dare say. The original Zero Fighters were based on the RS2 so where white, but I think some later ones were based on the GSR too.

Best thing would be to send the VIN to Black Knight on this forum, he runs a Mitsi dealership and can tell you what your car for sure.

The stickers the previous owner put on and are non genuine I believe as they were removed when he got it.

This is what I was thinking but the car was a import and in kms from new with that reg plate.. I have the recipts from ralliart UK for the speedo conversion and the rear fog light installation and Japanese owners manuals. Comes up on the v5 as a lance gl, it all points to me like it was imported from nearly new with 75km on the clock according to the history. It could be genuine!

I thought the Zero Fighter was based on the RS11. You could contact Chris @ C1-R (a trader on here) as he worked for Extreme and knows most if not all of the cars.

Ask blacknight on here to check out using the VIN. It certainly looks genuine with the wheels and skirts and all the other bits (ignore stickers). Strange colour though Icelle Blue as I thought even the japanese (zero fighter) ones were white or maybe Silver. Have a read through the Evo buyers guide on home page where they get a high-level mention too.
