EVO VI Autronic and forged rods by Norris Designs

SOLD

First off my cameras mince, check the link in thread for more pics

Reason for sale

This is my 2nd evo, previously had a IV. I only bought this car in July 2008, from jase_r on the MLR who owned it for 4 years, here is the previous advert https://www.lancerregister.com/showthread.php?t=210442. My wife is looking to jack in her job, setup a small business from home and we are looking to have another child. So for now we are going down to one car for financial reasons, however I am in no rush to sell, just yet. I knew when I bought the car I may not have it too long but had to get the evo thing out my system as my wife puts it.

The Car

I bought the car with around 83k on it in Jul and it now has 86.5k. The car is in the cheaper Tax bracket(goes on engine size). BHP and torque should be around 400/400 mark after the remap which is on the 23rd Jan at Wallace performance.

Modifications

Engine
Forged Rods by Norris designs in November 2008. Plus service with new timing belt.
GSC1 cams
ARP head stud bolts
uprated intercooler with hard pipes
HKS intake with new multi layer filter
8 MR RS titanium turbo with 10.5t hotside
Blitz Nur spec exhaust(was previously a 5zigen), decat silencer, 3 inch front pipe, ebay elbow. Modded 3 inch bung.
Nice engine shiney and carbon bits
uprated lash adjusters
APEXI avcr
New battery too, bought in Aug i think.
Engine uses no oil

ECU
Autronic with switchable ALS by Mark Shead. The car is however booked in for a remap at Wallace Performance on 23rd January to make the most of the newly fitted forged rods This should then take it to around 400/400. Currently the car is running about 1.65bar. After the map I would guess it would peak at near 2.0bar and hold 1.8bar. This is a guess though.

Fuelling
Walbro Fuel pump
Sard FPR

Transmission
HKS gdmax twin plate clutch
Evo VIII rear diff (stronger than VI)

Brakes
New standard front discs and pads fitted at 84.5k
Braided hoses

Suspension and wheels
eibach lowering springs
Front upper strut brace
18" kei wheels gunmetal with new front tyres at 84.2k
3D alignment at 84.2k after tyres and steering drumstick replaced.

ICE and interior
double din DVD headunit with freeview
Infinity fronts
I removed the subs. I needed somewhere for the pram Anyway they are included see jase's ad.
Kenwod amp, now powering fronts.
HKS oil temp gauge
HKS boost gauge
Interior is in good condition without the usual drivers seat wear.

Security
clifford concept 650 mk2 Thatchem approved with black jax, intel start and turbo timer
tracker fitted

Some of the service History
71145 Full service
72875 Oil changed
74448 HKS twin plate fitted and all oils changed
79943 oil and spark plugs by Jase
82287 All oils changed by Jase and AYC by Xtreme
84070 All oils changed with silkolene by me and coolant.
85.5k oil service by Norris Designs and timing belt

Spares
Evo VI standard wheels, need refurb. Would do track days.
Standard ECU
Transfer box that I bought to recondition. To have as spare, as they are getting harder to find.
Standard parts including intercooler, maf sensor, springs etc.

Thanks

It is in miles. The owner before Jase apparantly racked up alot of the mileage on the motorway going round construction sites I think it was. I think this is why the interior is in such good nick, not lots of stop start in and out journeys.

Cheers

Just to confirm, the engine has had forged rods and Arp head stud bolts only, by Norris Designs. The engine is now good to around 500+bhp

I stay just outside Edinburgh.

Cheers
