Did a few little jobs, including taking off a couple of vinyl graphics.
Also fitted my MLR mats - only had them over 3 years in the packet

Didn't want to get the logos dirty!

Where did you get them from?
I did have the Rallytech ones once. However I could not use the passenger side as the roll cage got in the way. (These look a little bigger)

After searching for many months, I found these on eBay from a chap who had it on his 6 back in the day. They fit perfectly, and required no adjustment or modification. I needed to get some longer bolts as the originals were too short, as the OEM mirrors are much better in terms padding and general design (but also a lot heavier) - these 'must' be saving at least 1.5kgs in total

Spare hub anyone ... one careful owner

Of course the first one behaved itself and I did it in situ but this barsteward was a little more reluctant

Nice new ones from viamoto, made in Germany it appears so hopefully decent quality.

Steve - question about one of the photos - where did you get your extinguisher and bracket assume it attaches to the seat rails?

After the rust started making moves on my ix I sold up and bought a supra. It was the only other jap car I wanted really, other than the insanely expensive r34 gtr of course. To answer the inevitable next question (how do they differ), the evo was much more practical obviously, with the big boot and 4 doors, although I can fit 2 adults in the back of the supra. The supra is much more twitchy and follows tramlines in the road more due to it being rwd. I could take corners in the evo at full whack that I would probably die if I tried it in the supra, I'm not that good a driver lol but the supras engine and drivetrain is immense. I recently single turbo'd it and it's making about 500bhp at 1bar, will be 650ish which I go to 1.7bar, and that's on stock block. It is a beast of a car. Both have their party tricks but I am enjoying the supra

Took it to work as my daily decided it didn't want to start. Tucked away in the garage now over winter.
