Rear Diff slight drip of oil Evo 6?

There is a square bit on the rear diff looks like a cover with 4 bolts in each corner that holds it on.

What is that cover and is there a gasket for it?

Mine is leaking from that cover.

It opens directly into the inner workings so most of the oil contained within will leak out if you open it without draining the oil.

Good opportunity for an oil change.

I'm not sure whether the seal is paper, rubber or sealant but I'd replace like for like.

Even the workshop manual doesn't mention a seal.

The worst thing is I have a new rear AYC diff sat in the office that I could check but I'm at home.

The bolts are torqued to 9Nm.
