Will do mate, there's a couple codes that I need to do spray outs for. We have a new paint scheme and the tech guys are in tomorrow for other bits so I will get them to look at them also.
Ok so I have two options, one being rays racing bronze by wheelpaints.co.uk and the other a colour made by my local wheel company. Unfortunately i can't use our normal paint scanners as there isn't a big enough flat area for them to read.
Below you can see that the left test card with the custom colour is really close so I will be using this when I decide to refurb, this will be a base over I'm waiting to get the actual code as all they gave me was a tin with a blank label [emoji23]
Right test card is the " rays racing bronze"
It's really close as we can see, but it will always look different when done, especially as the lip is finished differently, looks satin and also "Dimond cut" the rest of the alloy is rough and and has some weird texture to it, to retain this I won't be powder coating as that's too thick.
Fitted the wheels over the weekend with a new set of cup2s and it completely transformed the look and drive [emoji7]
Out of curiosity, how do you find the road noise is without any carpet in? I’ve wanted to remove mine for a while but the car already seems noisy enough with the fuel pump whining!

My carpet is in mate. But yes it's noisier, I had it out years ago along with the rear seats, quickly fitted it all back in. Rs is already noisy as it has no sound deadening so you remove the carpet and it just gets louder, same thing with the rear bench, especially if you have a pump in the boot. I have all my interior in and every time I get home from a day out in it my ears are ringing lol.
Do you think you can post the paint supplier contact info and the paint code once you have it please as I have some TE37's needing a refurb and I'm sure there are many others who would also appreciate the work you've done in finding the best colour match?

So this was rapidly turning into to another money pit garage queen so it will be leaving me soon as I’ve taken a deposit. Great car and will be missed
