Can someone please explain the whole water/meth thing?

The US guys seem to use this 'aquamist' setup.

Dont hear much of it on here. Is it worth doing?

Cheers.

you can run more power as it help cools intake/cylinder temps, reduces knock, run more timing etc

Here's my VII. HKS 264 cams, 80 series turbo, 50/50 at approx 300 CC/min. This done on a software dyno on the road with no correction. About 1.85 bar dropping to 1.45 at redline. Figures ATW.

i run meth/water allthe time comes in at about 1 bar up to about 1.75 ish ,
i fill the tank up roughly when i fill up the fuel tank depending ,also got a fluid level sensor in the tank with a dash mounted light ,plus another to tell me when the system is running , anyone wanting info on how the kits work just do a seach on the net devilsown ,aquemist ,aem all pretty same kits some even share common components
doesnt seem to be that popular in this country dont know why maybe tuners dont like it ,with switchable maps its as safe as any mod and the knock control from the meth is great

I would say about 10% in the mid range, mostly due to the extra boost you can run, above 6K the stock turbo can flow enough air without meth/water so gains at high RPM are much less. Still more torque through the rev range over all.

There are plenty of graphs at Evolutionm, and some nice videos as well, with the map switching, it's a pretty sweet toy.
