Engine is finally out now, been meaning to do it for the last few months. All ready now to be dropped off

I had to crane it on to my creeper and then slowly lower it on to its back. Managed to do it without breaking anything or scratching and paint. Putting it back in with a nice new cam cover is going to be interesting

New exhaust came today. I had ordered originally from a trader but I wasnít happy with the communication and the timeline kept moving on completion. So I spoke to Mark who promptly sorted me a new system from Nortec, top class service and super quick! Itís the non resonated version so itís possibly going to be a touch loud , especially with a big turbo and twin dump tubes

As to be expected the craftsmanship is spot on. And should happily flow the 600 ponies

No mate, they used to a year or more back. So thatís probably why you may recognise the design.

I have a silenced Decat for it, not that it will make a huge difference. These sound awesome so I’m looking forward to getting it on and fired up.

Lovely looking piece of kit.
Yes, it will be a tad loud, but I like that!
My 6 has the quietest exhaust I have ever heard on an Evo and it is nice sometimes, when you are not in the mood to be deafened, but I miss the volume when you are on a hard run.
Our neighbours horses definitely prefer the 6s exhaust to the 5s!

I have a ctec silenced decat on mine (miltek exhuast) and it made a noticeable difference. It's probably still considered loud by non car enthusiasts
