Stock Evo 9 turbo On Dyno

Hello

Had a interesting Evo 9 on the dyno today its one of my 2.2lt stoker engines with stock Evo 9 turbo, The owner wanted as much TQ as we could get as the aim was get as much lower down as poss to suit his driving style,
It also has a very quite exhaust consisting of 3 boxes and 2 resonators so is a really nice place to be for a normal road car,
I wasn't shy of running a bit of boost with it dropping down at the top to keep the turbo speed in check.

I am sure we will have some interesting comments.
Nope no Irpm pick up either

That looks monstrous!!! That amount of torque so low down must give some adrenaline rush. Good work and as usual not scared of boost

Its good fun and never found the need to start a dyno run at 1500rpm and run to 7200rpm .

It was mapped on Tesco 99 and run on the dyno on Shell Nitro Plus so its good on both fuel,
It would be interesting to see where the TQ ends up on race fuel.

Great result Mark! Unfortunately the turbo will have a very very short life at that boost level.
