According to the data kenny1 was his equal

I wonder if,for the sake of curiosity,i hadnt have been rammed off the track and black flagged for the pleasure, and the car hadnt of shredded its clutch, how i would have faired against your secret weapon because neither of us showed any sign of moving out of each others way.

But alas,i will just have to be a legend in my own mind

Until next year

Of course you would've won Liam

But then again, wouldn't we all!

That's good to know because on at least one occasion I kept up with Kenny for an entire stint

As for all the banter then that's what the event is all about. A good bit of friendly rivalry and the occasional 'nudge' never really hurt anyone

Even though we had excellent (well, quick) drivers (other than me), I think it's also fair to say that the No 7 car was easily the best package out there (thanks to Sider's meticulous preparation and excellent tyre choice). The only reason we didn't win was a touch of naivity at the red flag situations where we tended to link them with driver changes and then found ourselves at the end of the queue and were held up for quite a few laps. I'm sure next year (if Chris invites us us) we'll be much more professional about the off-track aspects.

Incidentally, did any other team measure their max speed round the course. I think our car was up around the 55-56mph - when not being barged or blocked, that is

Exactly what we did and the MSOC IIRC and it didn't do us any harm

And the same way we did it as well... however the key was driving to the front of the queue and then doing your changes etc. rather than doing them in your own 'pits' etc. Same with refuelling. We managed to get the car refuelled at one of the red flag stops which definitely helped.

As for top speed then ours was bouncing off the limiter in 2nd gear so will be up around the 55mph spot as well.

Something we learnt from last year to get those front two places on the red flags

our pit area was positioned there as well

We didn't need to refuel at all!!

In fact our fuel was sold to a team who seemed to be drinking it!!

agreed Phil
we driver changed on the red flags also
obviously did us no harm
in fact had the race run for 10 minutes more we would have had a 1-2
or had our 11 car not been black flagged

That was us lol. Something seriously wrong with the fuelling at the end.

We worked out that we refuelled 13 x times in total.
We were 34? laps behind at the end, and lost the rear wheel 22 minutes before the end. At 30seconds a lap it makes you wonder if that final full tank was enough.

Anyway, what happenned? I go away for a week and come back and its WW3?
