So as long as you stay under 400lb/ft torque and don't rev over 7500rpm with a good mapping, the engine should be just as safe at 450-500hp as it is at 400?

I feel as though I have got my car as I want it now. To take it much further will cost more money than I can afford. It will probably make it less useable for longer trips or with the family in it.

this cetainly crosses the boundaries of what tuners say - but then they still have to give some sort of warranty on their work hence the reluctance to push the limits on a standard block

Your dyno graph is dated 14/11/2008, has your car been running that much power and torque since then till now (today)??

id be interested to see what the reciprocating parts look like when they come out for the forged replacements.
