Here we have another shell restoration being carried out before it turned into just another rotten :mitsi: The 6 RS shell pictured below was imported around 2009 and was undersealed with the usual black stuff.... but after a few years of UK roads it was starting to look like it needed some TLC. One good thing about this shell was we knew it didn't require any welding, in my opinion if its full of rot then don't throw good money after bad like a lot of people seem to do :blah: if you have issues around the rear sub frame then sticking a plate over it is not solving anything.
The first stage was to mount the shell onto the spit and sand blast the under side and the engine bay to reveal the bare metal
