I got a few, but nothing amazing (and I have uploaded a ton of pictures of Steve Hill in the past) so I didn't include any in the Flickr album. Got quite a few of the Mirage in there though, as I don't have many of those yet!

Has a lot changed on that car since last year? It was pretty underwhelming when I saw it in action last year, but I wondered if that was down to the car or the driver at the time.

Forgive the double post (especially as this isn't directly related to British Rallycross), but I went to Spain for the opening round of the World Rallycross Championship a couple of weeks ago.

I won't clutter the thread up with pictures, but a few shots here:

If any of you are interested!

Ah, that explains the sudden improvement in that car then! I wonder if Godfrey is involved with Oliver Bennetts new car in any way? (Spencer Sport are building that as well)

Most of Sunday! My mates were up in the grandstand and they bought all of their wet stuff with them, most of it was dry by lunchtime!

The rain was actually good, as the cars looked a real handful in damp conditions. Was great to then see the same cars at full pelt in the dry the next day.

Not a massive Supercar entry, but some decent cars in there. Be good to see Scott back out again, fingers crossed Higgins can take this one and level the Championship up.

I caught up with this on Motors TV last night.

Some good racing in there.

Steve Hill struggled in the Evo as it just didn't look too competitive against the other Supercars.

I often think Steve seems to have bursts of speed, but struggles with consistency in that Evo. The car does seem more reliable in recent years though.

Were you there Grant? Looked like a pretty unbelievable mix of conditions, four seasons over one weekend. I watched a post-race interview with Susan Hansen who said it was still warmer than Silverstone was though!

Round 3 of the British Championship (Croft) is this weekend.

Was a bad one:

That Mirage is going to need some serious T-cutting before the next round! Great to see Julian walk away unharmed.

Although the Supercar numbers have been a bit erratic this year, there is a pretty decent three-way fight for the title. I think yesterdays result puts Godfrey, O'Donovan and Higgins on pretty much level pegging.

I would still like to see Higgins take the title, he is going to need consistent results at Lydden, Pembrey and Silverstone to do it though.

Good day at Lydden. Not too sure about the penalty given to Ollie, but a good fight out on track in the Supercars. Some great racing in the support races as well, especially the Swift Juniors. The last few years that class has been my least favourite, but they are great this year.

The BMW MINI class seems much improved as well, most of their races finished with all the cars in close proximity to each other. I was told that they are expecting increased entries next year as well.

I uploaded a few pictures from Lydden. Few faves...

Given that they were welcomed last time, few more World Rallycross pictures for you, this time from France:
