First diagnosed in the USA. Ended up being called Spanish flu because the Spanish admitted its existence whereas the US suppressed the news.

No-one really knows where it came from, but China is one of the possible sources.

This Nazi is at it again...

@GadSaad

"It is disgustingly racist to blame a country for the spread of a virus simply because of horrifying sanitary conditions at wet markets, animal cruelty involving sickening cross-contamination, & dictatorial suppression of information that could have averted this global pandemic."

Wouldnít recommend it, and it certainly isnít ideal for the elderly (my Dad is 82 with COPD and has had cancer 3 times)

How did I catch it? God knows, I washed my hands like crazy, anti bacíd etc etc

Good luck everyone
Good luck Mita

When I say business as usual ,I was meaning the public are going around in cafes etc like normal.
Business on the other hand isnt normal.
Low Wood Hotel resort as soon as this Covid kicked off lost 10,000 beds .
Windermere boat company I heard had lost a million pounds in bookings .
My business due to doing take away food aswell as eat in is doing ok and appears to be doing better for the time being. This weekend will show a clearer overall trade pattern for me.

I hope your dad manages to keep this virus (and other viruses) at bay.

How long did it take from testing to getting your covid19 diagnosis?

Yes me too. Unfortunately heís a stubborn git! Heís survived cancer plus other stuff, been smoking over 60 years too! He doesnít see the virus as a threat.

They wonít test me unless Iím basically really struggling. Iíve spoken to 111 and spoken about it all, they have confirmed I have it (albeit with no test) and said I have to stay at home. I guess they donít want everyone putting even more pressure on the NHS by asking for tests ? Looking at the news a test is coming out to say if you have it or have had it too

Iím now entering the Flu symptoms , so aching wrists and joints. Cough is better, itís the shortness of breath thatís not nice. Even going up the stairs a few times is hard work, it can make you dizzy and hot if youíre not careful. Really not nice

Not good pal, hopefully your back to normal soon.My kids finish up school tomorrow so I’m just going to take time out and spend as much time with the family as possible,if we get it,we get it.Crazy, can’t really take it all in.One of the first to do is pull the transfer box out of the Evo,be doing that real soon

Edit to add... probably be easier sourcing a new diff than bog roll or pasta lol

Yeh itís mental Martin, hard to compute it all really.

Just do your best to keep them away from stuff. It seems itís so easy to catch.

On the plus side it is time to do Evo stuff!

Sorry to hear your having these symptoms.
Some people just seem to be getting mild cold like symptoms and others are getting hit hard.
Keep us updated, as its more realistic to see it from a “real” persons perspective, instead of some halfwit “celebrity” !
Hopefully, the fever will do its job and kill it off, shortly.
Take care, mate.
