i wouldnt of thought anyone has a remap due to exhaust upgrade alone(i haven`t),all your doing is letting the exhaust gasses exit quicker/smoother,of course if i`m wrong someone will be along to correct me

no need for a remap.just fit the decat and away you go.

when it comes to mot just fit the cat again for it to pass the emissions test

I think you will need a re-map mate. Your AFR's will be out if you fit a de-cat without a re-map. I think the only evo X that sort of gets away with it , is the FQ360.

What de-cat you got? not all of them are compatible with the blueflame mate. The Scorpion ones are fine though, if that helps?

It depends really, all you can do is suck it and see. If you start to get fuel cuts then you'll need to have it re-mapped too.

Thing is, though, if you're going for 400 BHP I don't understand why you don't just get it all done at once? Fit the parts and have it re-mapped, job's a good 'un.

In my experience when i fitted a decat my Engine management like came on after a few days, I also found that on a cold morning i was hitting fuel cut as the boost increased.

I needed a re-map on my X when I fitted a de-cat, but it got mapped shortly after fitment.

Also when I fitted a de-cat to my 8 MR 340 the car ran really bad and smelled really rich, I had to take it back off.

Nice one people think i will just wait then get the induction kit and just do it all at once as aidy said. want to get the carbon airbox and which induction kit is best?

also i have the ets test pipe anyone know if that is compatible with the blueflame?

p.s. aidy your incredibly vigilant for knowing its a blue flame ;-)
