Fitted some mudguards to try and protect the paint a little bit

As you can see they're needed round where I live, I've only been for a trip to the shops since fitting them

I haven't seen any pictures anywhere of fitment on a 4, for the rear set the're like the 5&6 but for the front set the inside hole doesn't sit flush and there isn't a hole already there, so I used a rivnut and 3d printed a spacer. Also the fixing were too small so I had to buy some 6.3mm self tapping screws for the front

Wasn't sure about the ralliart logo cause I guess they aren't officially ralliart but oh well

Went to put my new aux belt on the AC pump and noticed the 1/2" tensioning hole had been destroyed

No idea how it could have happened cause everyone on this forum knows that aluminium doesn't weaken/corrode, especially on the iv
Or is that just the subframe

Can anyone tell me the difference between the 4-6 MD355488 vs 7-9 MD373939 vs rosssport RS373939 tensioners other than the price?

Continuing to look good, I bought some red guards years ago and never fitted them. Once I put the new painted wheels on I’ll throw them on as well go for an all around “new” look lol

Yea the tensioners do that, hence the better design of the later ones.

While you're at it check and/or replace the other Aux idle wheel, you might well find some bad bearings. It's only twenty quid for that one.

Yea, probably the price difference between a genuine and third party equivalent.

FWIW the prices for genuine parts on RS are usually very good, but as always there's a premium on genuine parts.

Yeah usually they're pretty good, though the one from ICP is a genuine koyo (original supplier for mitsu) and only £20. Most 3rd party equivalents are more than adequate if they're from a good brand i.e INA, SKF, FAG ect.

This arrived from nengun a while back and I finally had a chance to fit it:

All the instructions were in Japanese, so like ikea furniture I just made it up as I went along

It was a little odd as they included 2 M6x20 hex head bolts, M6 nuts and washers which were surplus to requirements, couldn't work out where they could possibly be used...
They also included some self tappers to screw into the front cross member

So I threw them away and used rivnuts instead

The white is a latex stonechip I sprayed before riveting to keep it water tight and prevent the edge of the hole corroding

Brackets in place - it was a pain torquing up the lower arm bolts whilst keeping the bracket square!

And finally the panel all fitted!

These are the LHD lights EvoIVCed

Would you be interested in just a straight swap for your RHD lights?
