Looks great, nice to see you're looking after it Gordon. The GT is such a great road car with the RS/GSR combination.

Mine done a little more 32,700miles and I'm
Only the second owner..yours looks really tidy! I like .

Are you in the standard 71series turbo? Mine just broke so I'm putting a 80 series on with a C-tec manifold and a few other bits.

I agree with nigel s the RS/gsr set up makes for one very quick car.the ratios are awesome!

Not a lot of difference between the two mileage wise No mine had an 80 series fitted end of last year due to breakage

Yes, the ratios suit the purpose very well!

Hi Lee,

It had the 80 series on when I bought it earlier this year, so can't compare with the 71. Pulls very well though

It has a Milltek fitted, nice sound but not too boomy. I still have the 3" downpipe to fit. What is on yours?

Ahh ok I am just keen to hear from some One that's had both on a 9.the mivec must help with spool.ant at indigo said I won't notice it but was just keen to hear some ones view of both lol..I bet it pulls well, the 71 pulls nice and that's not Go as much top end power as the 80.Till it broke and left Me stranded in lakeside lol..

Mines stage one,I've got a manifold fitted but it's cracked but not blowing so while the turbo is off I'm gona fit a proper manifold that's not gona crack (C-tec nigel s). It has a hyperflow intercooler and hks boost pipe kit, usual air filter/blitz boost controller and map.exhaust wise I'm using a magnex all the way through with downpipe.nice note not to loud and it's never boomy but on boost it sounds

I would like a different tail pipe but I don't wana silly loud exhaust.

I can also say deffo buy a GT,they have the balance of the 'raw' feel as an RS with the rapid acceleration but it's comfortable on a long drive with all the gsr bits.its my first Evo too so I count myself Lucky having such a rare and special car .

Have you any more plans? I'm debating on what wheels to have on mine.i have 8 MR wheels as XXR 527's in 18's that I'm selling there new with tyres.rota boost,Rota grid drift what do you think? Your wheels are very nice .

I also like how you have left it looking stock pretty much, very sleek in black and stealth mines the same

The previous owner said he missed the 71 spool.

I'm in the same boat re wheels... probs will keep what I have just now until I get a few more bits done.. then will go for some JDM rims most likely. Defo going to stick with 8.5s though even though the wider ones look much better.
