Thanks Kev. It's not too bad really, mainly just surface rust which whips off after a going over with a poly disc. Bit gutted I had to do some cutting though. I believe the part of the sill that was in a poor state has had repair work carried out at some point. Not noticeable until you see the weld and realise how flimsy the steel used was.

How did you go about using the 9 harness on your 4? I have a 97 USDM Mirage and would like to use a USDM 8 harness so I don't have to convert my RHD harness to LHD.

Thanks,
Sean

Payed stupid money.

Thanks for positives

Been away from the car since early Jan so very little has happened over the past few weeks.
I did however make a start on stripping the engine bay and get a few bits and bobs ordered.

Not alot left on the front end now

Ordered the following:
  • Quaife ATB LSD
  • 19 row oil cooler
  • braided turbo oil feed and returns
  • Through car brake lines and bias valve
  • rear subframe
  • Whiteline F&R ARBs
  • Neverneverman drop links
  • new track rod ends
  • Ralliart thermostat and rad cap
  • New camber bolts
  • Loads of bolts, nuts & washers
  • Ralliart bushes
  • several silcone hoses

What I still need:
  • Cat-back exhaust
  • Rocker cover with -10s, some braided lines and a catch can
  • New discs & pads
  • Wheel bearings
  • Intercooler
  • E5 alloy front control arms
  • Carbon mods front splitter (If I can't straighten out my alloy one )
  • Fuel filler neck
  • Lightweight north/south bar
  • Some floor carpet to cover rear seat wells
  • Harness bar (not going with cage just yet)

Starting later this coming week I'll be tackling the car for 2 weeks solid.

With the prop off it might be do-able. Not 100% sure though bud.
