Best Turbo for a 2.3 Stroker

Just after a bit of advise please

Looking at my options for Turbo for this set up shown below

1.Put the stock Turbo back on, or i have a 6.5 with titanium wheel i can use

2. New Evo IX Turbo (3" elbow) from Indigo what might this offer

Or 3.something else? Looking for stock like spool, trying to avoid lag, aiming for 450bhp ish anyone point me in the right direction

2.3 stroker.

CP Pistons

Bridgeway I-beam rods

4G64 Crank

ACL race bearings

brand new oil pump
brand new sensors

HKS valves, sprint and retainers

GT 275 spec camshafts

Vernier adjustable cam pulleys

Thanks as always everyone :-)

Mike

Problem with 2.3 and 2.4 is that they need full frame turbo. I had 2.4 with 80 series and it had diesel like power band......preaty much died at 6k rpm and you will struggle to pull anything more than a little over 400 from this setup (torque tho was insane.....i believe someone here got 550+ out of it on 2.2).

It needs mire flow and will spool something like 5558 or 5862(got one for sale) fast and will hold boost to 8k with head room for more power if needed

Ross sport gt3076 kit on my 2.3 running a very safe 580bhp that’s what I’d recommend, works well enough for me

sent him your details, he said it's just sold, sorry!

as above, I also now have a GT3076 HTA kit on mine, 360bhp at 1.8 bar, exceptional kit, I strongly recommend!

EFR 7670 will make full boost around 3500rpm have better transient response than stock turbo and plenty of head room.

Dyno graph 7670 on 2.2L e85
of course on petrol you'd run less boost and softer timing, probably give up 100hp or so.
