Super Lap Scotland Round 6 Final

Another win for Colin Dorward at this weekends double-header of Super Lap Scotland Round 5 & 6.

Sunday saw Colin manage a personal best in Qualifying of 50.8 seconds only for him to drop to a 50.6 in the final.

With much more left in the car, the driver and the overall setup of the car it looks like it might be possible for a sub-50 second lap which is extremely hard to do in a road based vehicle.

A loss of forward facing camera only left us with the side shot of the driver but it allows a little bit of a closer look as to what's going on in the cabin during the attack on track.

Very well done. To go even faster in a one lap shootout in amazing. Was that using the Yokohama AO52s? To my knowledge I don't recall any Evo ever going under 50 secs, even on slicks.

It was on well used A052 tyres. They have proven to be a very good tyre for Colin in wet and dry conditions.

Engine is a 2.3 with a EFR 8374 for reference.

Will you be posting a forward facing video of Colin's 50.8sec lap?

There is another car in SLS that uses our actuator setup. This time it's directly mounted to the Quaife seqential so there is no lever inside the car.

The Evo is owned by Matty Lawson and is twin charged.

This is only its 2nd outing.
